We are a local family business, founded by Blanca (mom) and Pancho as a result of our passion in nature and hospitality. We pour our hearts into creating the best Loreto experience for you.
We foster a deep appreciation for Loreto´s. natural beauty and rich culture. In Baja Mia we see ourself as a bridge between our beloved guests, our land, our culture and our people.
In Baja Mia we want you to be a part of it, live the traditions, explore hidden gems, and leave a footprint of respect and appreciation for our land.
HOW DID WE ACHIEVE IT?
Baja Mia means My Baja (Your Baja), our experiences are developed so you become part of the community and nature, we want you to live our land of wonders from our perspective.
Our team is composed of former commercial fishermen, upstanding members of the community with a wealth of practical experience and a deep commitment to service. We’ve learned that natural resources are far more precious when preserved rather than exploited, and we are dedicated to conservation and regenerative tourism practices.
Every expedition with us is guided by a local expert, an experienced captain or guide who knows the land intimately. While itineraries may sometimes be imperfect and language barriers present, we guarantee our friendship and a shared passion for what we do on each and every journey.
BAJA MIA FOR LIFE
We believe the first step to protecting something is knowing it. Sadly, Loreto has many locals that hadnt had the chance to explore and connect with the natural and historical wonders surrounding them. Thats why we started taking kids to discover our land, our main objective is to create hope on this kids, motivate them to keep discovering its world and keep getting ready for life in 4 areas: social, familiar, spiritual and profesional.
This program empowers Loreto's youth. Discovering wildlife and their surrounding habitat. Through these adventures, they learn about Loreto's ecosystems and become stewards of their natural environment. Baja Mia for Life ignites a passion for protecting Baja's beauty in the next generation.

Born in Monterrey, raised in Mexico City with roots in Baja Sur, he loves the salty life. Enjoys fishing, wildlife sightings, freediving, scuba diving, and any other water sport he can get his hands on.
He knows his purpose on Earth is to serve, and he does it with love and charm.

Was born in Sinaloa, Manuel left his home 13 years old to become what he later new was his passion, a comercial fisherman. He fished the next years the Gulf of California in different vessels until he knew his new home port, Loreto where he met his wife and had his beautiful family.
Manuel is a reckless avid fisherman, cook and hiker who will teach you from an empiric way how nature works.

Her name means the loved one in spanish, thas why we like to call her Ms. Amada. She is in charge of the cleaning of Baja Mia Suites Always smiling, she is a lovely GrandMa with a Beautifull family.
Amada shares the service attitude all the time. If you see her arround dont hessitate to say hello and she will responde with her best smile guaranteed.

He owns its Ranch in San Javier Community on the mountains. He is an avid Ranchero and his is full of native knowledge you want to hear. He enjoys to ride its mules arround the historical canyos up in the mountains.
